Bridger #3 - Offset Laminated

Bridger #3 offset laminated. 4 coiled trap good for dogs and foxes. Has been modified with 4 coil springs, heavy duty baseplate, laminated and offset jaws. The baseplate has been welded not just riveted (this prevents the trap bending).  Modifications make it a very good trap that will stand up to the biggest dogs. The angled jaws make it very fast too (speed ramping). Also rated internationally as one of the most humane traps next to padded traps. Jake chain extentions are commonly added to these traps by most professional trappers.

What is offset? Offset jaws mean the jaws do not touch they have a gap when closed. In the Bridger #3 they have a 1/4 inch gap. What is laminated? Lamination strips (steel strips) are welded onto the jaws to make them thicker. Why use offset laminated jaws? Offset laminated jaws have been proven to be more humane than standard steel jaw traps. By thickening the jaw and offseting them the impact pressure of the trap on the animals foot is much reduced while still providing the same holding ability.
